Gravity Skatewheel Conveyors (Straight)
Gravity Skatewheel Conveyors are ideally used to convey lightweight products and packages or when your operation requires non-powered lightweight sections. While offering low friction and minimal slope, our free-spinning wheels permits packages and products to be manually moved with minimum effort. They can be installed with a slight decline to take advantage of the force of gravity to move products.
Gravity Skatewheels are ideal for payloads that have a firm flat bottom. This includes many common shipping items such as, cartons, cases, totes, etc. A skate wheel rolls more easily than a roller on a roller type conveyor. This allows lighter packages to be more easily moved, with less slope. Skatewheel Conveyors are very useful in setting up temporary conveyor lines in warehouses, shipping departments, assembly areas, etc.
A Skate Wheel Conveyor is the most economical type of conveyor.

- Axles on 3″ or 4″ centers
- Bed – 2-1/2″ deep x 1″ flange x 12 ga. formed steel powder painted, or 1/8″ heat treated aluminum channel
- 1-15/16″ O.D. steel or aluminum wheels
- Couplings use bolts on one end, hooks on opposite end

SWC / AWC – Gravity Skate wheel Conveyors Curve
Gravity Skatewheel Conveyor Curves add to the versatility of straight conveyors and provide excellent package orientation because of the differential action of the wheels. A Skate Wheel Curve moves product with a minimum amount of pitch based on weight and size. They allow products to be moved with less friction and this allows for less conveyor slope. Individual wheels on a curve section allows your packages to track more easily than with curved roller conveyors.
Skatewheel conveyor are ideal for temporary set-ups.

- 48″ outside radius in 12″, 15″, & 18″ widths

Gravity Skatewheel Conveyors Spurs are used to easily transfer products from one conveying line to another. They are used to merge or divert products from one line to another. They are ideal where numerous lines must transfer onto a main conveyor line from workstations or similar operations. Curved spurs are available in 30º, 45º, and 90º degrees.
Note: When speaking with an agent, or placing an online order, make sure that you specify you need “left” or “right hand” spur, to conform to your existing or future conveyor environment.
